Studs and Duds: NFL Week 15

By Brett Malamud

Here’s week 15’s edition of Studs and Duds:

Stud: Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants

Beckham Jr. had a game that has propelled him to be the favorite for offensive rookie of the year. The Giants rookie had 12 catches for 143 yards and three touchdowns against the Redskins in week 15.

Dud: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Rodgers failed to throw a touchdown pass against the Bills, angering fantasy owners in the midst of their playoffs.

Stud: Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys

Bryant returned to form on Sunday with six catches for 114 yards and three touchdowns.

Dud: Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been winning via the ground game, but Andy Dalton’s numbers have dropped dramatically. Dalton had just 117 passing yards and threw an interception against the Browns.

Stud: Jeremy Hill, Cincinati Bengals

Just as I said, the Bengals have been winning games via the ground, and Hill has been a major part of that. In week 15, Hill took 25 carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns.

Dud: New York Jets

The Jets won. So why are they on the duds list? Well, a loss would have put them in line for the second pick in the draft. However, the win dropped them to the sixth pick, and they are likely out of the running for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota. It’s not a good time to be a Jets fan.

Stud: Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

Brees torched the Chicago Bears in their own stadium. The Saints QB finished the game with 375 passing yards and three touchdowns.
